When I was first born, being dedicated to the Lord, my mother received a prophesy that I, Jonathon Bryner was going to do a great work for the Lord. As my life progressed, I grew up fearing the Lord and became a devout christian, but turned away from God, smoking pot and drinking, skipping school, lying to my parents, etc. I quit school in the twelfth grade, which lead to my misfortune. I was at a party one night, and using cocaine heavily, and tried to leave the party to go home. My friends told me I was to drunk to drive, and they were going to get more beer.  So I got in the passengers seat and went with them. We traveled at speeds well over one hundred miles per hour, and as we came around “Dead Man’s Corner”, we almost hit another car head on. In a turning frenzy we failed to make the corner and went up into a field and t-boned a tree on my side of the car. Something entered my abdomen, my stomach was opened all the way from my naval to my chest bone. My arm broke in three places, and my liver was lacerated in three or four places. I lost nine pints of blood (there are only eleven pints of blood in the human body). Subsequent infections nearly killed me, and they considered amputating my arm as a result of infection. One of my lungs was collapsed, and the other was punctured bytwo broken ribs. The surgeon removed removed my spleed which was destroyed. My diaphragm was torn away and had to be repaired, and my left kidney was knocked out of place. I was in a coma for three weeks with a severe brain injury, and had to wear a neck collar for nine weeks, because of the stretched ligaments. The doctors were contemplating just letting me die, but my mother refused them taking me off life support. Fluid filled my lungs several times, and I had multiple chest tubes draining the old blood, and had many blood transfusions. I had sepsis, in which my body was full of infection, and had many tubes all over my body, and I also came down with c-diff and mrsa. My heart stopped thirteen times as a result of the trauma I suffered. I spent seven weeks in rehab, had to learn how to walk and talk again, tie my shoes, dress, and speech therapy. So far I have undergone forty-some surgeries, and still have to undergo more. On my twenty-eighth surgery, I had a vision of God, in which I will tell about in my sermon if brought to your church or school. A vision of God carrying me when the doctors said there was a chance I was not going to wake. Click here to view accident photos (Warning: Graphic Content)
